Some of you folks may not be aware of it but the next G20 Conference is going to be held in my area, Toronto, June 26th. -27th. As you can imagine, with so many world leaders present security is going to be a major concern. Here's a brief snippet of some of the steps that are being taken to ensure security:
"In Toronto for the G20 portion of the meetings, the Toronto Police Service will be on full duty alongside members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Policy, the Canadian Armed Forces and the Ontario Provincial Police with the assistance of other Canadian security personnel. A portion of Canada's CF 18 Fighter Jet Command will also be on hand to ensure that strict security perimeters in the skies above the GTA are not compromised."
