..that the liberals will bypass I'm sure.

I'm glad to see that a cap was placed on it yesterday and hope that it will hold. BP and it's subsidaries are responsible for this mess but it's to bad that we did not have a real president to oversee this disaster. What we had was a finger pointing buffoon by the name of obama who is not capable of handling any crisis. I want the good people of the Gulf States to get back to work at what they do best, drilling for oil and fishing. I'm certain that this mess will take years to clean up and that is the fault of the idiot that occupies the white house.

Speaking of poor leadership, I heard they can't shut or close the oil from spewing from the new cap due to the government delaying it until the "government" is satisfied it won't make things worse.
Hell, it's either going to work or not isn't it?
Why the hell wait til the government runs their tests? Meanwhile the oil is gushing!
How could it be worse than it is now?
I swear it looks like Obama is wanting as much damage as he can get from that damn well.
I bet Jimmy Carter could do a better job than Obama...

Anyone with half a brain, would find that you arguing about the leadership of a President in a disaster considering your lack of argument about Katrina, to be the highest form of hypocrisy.

Part of Ranger Tom's comment was: "I want the good people of the Gulf States to get back to work at what they do best, DRILLING FOR OIL and fishing." Really? That's what they DO BEST?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmygod.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/kidding.gif) If that spill, while drilling for oil, is the best they can do than I think they should all be removed from the drilling rigs. Maybe bring in some folks from some other area. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rofl.gif)

They probably spill oil all the time up in Canada but don't make such a big deal out of it like they do in the Gulf, huh?

Who told you, how did you find out?? Actually, it didn't happen in Canada, it happened in Michigan, but I'll admit that it was a Canadian company.

CHIGAGO: A new oil spill is sullying US waters in the northern state of Michigan after a pipeline leak sent more than a million gallons of crude into a river tributary, officials said Wednesday.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said the spill began Monday when a 30-inch (76-centimeter) pipe in Marshall, Michigan burst, spewing the crude into Talmadge Creek, a waterway which feeds into the Kalamazoo River.

Officials said the pipeline belongs to the Canadian company Enbridge Inc.
"This is a serious spill that has the potential to damage a vital waterway and threatens public health," said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.
On Tuesday, the environmental agency requested that the US Coast Guard make two million dollars available for the federal response to the spill, and said the money eventually will be reimbursed by Enbridge.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm however criticized both EPA and Enbridge Wednesday for what she described as a slow response so far.

"The situation is very, very serious," Granholm said in a conference call with the news media, adding that oil could reach Lake Michigan if more intensive containment measures are not put in place.

(CNN) -- Officials in Michigan Thursday urged residents living near the Kalamazoo River oil spill to evacuate the area because of health concerns.

Good grief they sure are making a big fuss about a little bit of oil. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popc1.gif)

Looks like the Canadian president hasn't responded any faster than Obama, huh?
Of course I haven't heard if Obama has responded at all!
Probably doesn't want to offend the Canadians, right?
